Russian spacecraft, still out of control in space – El Nuevo Herald

The Russian space agency failed to stabilize a cargo spacecraft continues orbiting out of control, but said he would not rule still be able to save the mission of unmanned probe.

The Progress M-27M was launched into space on Tuesday and was expected to be anchored to the ISS six hours later to deliver 2.5 tons of supplies, including food and fuel.

But mission controllers were unable receive data from the probe, which had entered the wrong orbit.

The spokesman Mission Control, Sergei Talalasov, told the Russian news agency Interfax on Wednesday that drivers are trying to reestablish communication with Progress.

The Russian space agency and NASA said the six astronauts aboard the Space Estacon have enough supplies and are not in danger.
