Google launches Allo, a messaging app that will make jealous Facebook – Expansion MX

NEW YORK (CNNMoney) –

There’s a new messaging app, and worth downloading.

While Facebook has been working to integrate bots in Messenger, Google went ahead and created a messaging application that integrates its enormous search engine.

Allo, which was announced in may, is now available for download, and has all the fun that users have been accustomed to in other applications: there are group chats, stickers and the option of leaving messages that expire.

The only thing missing is the ability to make video and audio calls, but it was intentional. Google wants to do this, use your application calls Duo, which was launched in August. (Lovers of Hangouts, not to worry, the application will remain, although Google is aiming the service toward a professional use).

Both Allo as a Duo are available for Android and iOS.

These are some of the features:

A messaging application “smart”

Allo can suggest answers during a conversation, that appear in bubble text that you can send by touching them. The recommendations can save the user time, but they are very basic and can be impersonal.

During a talk test, Allo suggested “well done!” to a message that said: “How are you?”. With the time, Allo know if you prefer to write “haha” or “lol”, so that when using the prediction function, the better you will come to mimic your style.

One of the best features of Allo is the use of the Google search engine. To do this, there are that mention Google by typing “@Google” and what you want to search for. So, Google may suggest places to eat during a conversation, for example. It is a great way to make plans with other people without having to switch between applications or to send screen shots of the search results.

you can Also start a live chat separate with the assistant of Google. It works just like Google, but it feels more like a conversation and less like an interaction search-result.

you Can configure the messages in mode superprivado

All messages sent through Allo are encoded by the servers of Google, but using the chat in incognito mode the resguardas-level device.

That means that only the sender and the recipient can read the messages. Anyone who tries to intercept you will only see a jumble of figures.

in Addition, each user can reset the expiration time of any of the messages.

you Can scribble

as Snapchat, Allo lets you draw on photos before sending them to your friends. There is also a large selection ofren that can be downloaded.

you Can ‘call’

as the application iMessage Apple updated the iOS 10, Allo will allow you to send messages that demonstrate a higher intensity.

To keep your finger on the send button in the app, you can choose the size of the font so that you can ‘shout’. It is an alternative to the use of capital letters.
