Google remains committed to democratize access to the network, to its services and applications. Logically, for the company it is a win-win: it offers users more opportunities to increase your lists of potential users. And it is in the cake that represent the emerging markets, which is generating the new battle for the internet, with India as a major point of interest.

Facebook has tried with your Free Basics, but the proposal of Google is also interesting. In addition to wanting to bring Wi-Fi to the region, the company has presented YouTube Go, a lighter version of the service in the form of app, which comes to simplify the experience in areas with a connection to the network inefficient, giving at the same time greater opportunities to the emerging countries.

What’s interesting YouTube Go is that it allows you to store videos to watch them offline, but above all, it provides the opportunity to share these videos with other users via Bluetooth, reducing data consumption greatly at the time of play back or transfer video between users and devices.

YouTube Go has been designed and built from the ground up with the sunset view in India, in order to bring the video to the mobile users in a more conscious way of its connectivity and data, without ceasing to be relevant at the local level, and social.

at the moment, the service is in a sort of closed beta in India, but with the passage of time is expected to be extended to other regions, especially those with the worst network infrastructures, something that impedes the proper growth of video services like YouTube.
