Pyongyang – North Korea threatened today to conduct a war on US territory, after President Barack Obama promised proportional to cyber attack suffered by the producer Sony Pictures response.

“Our armed forces and the people are fully prepared for a confrontation with the United States in all areas of war, including cybernetics” the National Defense Commission of North Korea warned.

“The tougher action will be heading to the White House, the Pentagon and the entire continental United States far exceeds the symmetrical counter declared (Barack ) Obama, “the commission said in a statement carried by the state news agency KCNA.

North Korea reiterated Monday that it has nothing to do with the cyber attack on Sony Pictures and even proposed to the Federal Office US Investigations (FBI) to undertake a joint investigation of the facts.

The North Korean threat occurs after Obama announced the start of a process to assess whether Pyongyang should be included again on the black list of countries that sponsor terrorism following the cyberattack on the film company.

Inclusion in the black list represents restrictions to foreign aid, the prohibition of exports and sales of defense, controls on certain exports and various financial and other obstacles.

The US president did not consider the attack on Sony Pictures, which blames North Korea was an “act of war” but “cyber-vandalism” that Washington will answer.

He also warned that the United States will respond “proportionally” to the cyberattack that led to the movie studio to cancel the premiere of “The Interview”, a satirical comedy which the protagonists are commissioned to assassinate the North Korean leader, Kim Jong-un.
