Probably, if you are a user of Windows Phone , you’ve been there noticing problems to send self-destructing messages to your friends, via Snapchat , does not it? Well, do not go thinking it’s because of a fault with your device or connectivity, because the truth is quite another.
It happens that, as many of you may know, Snapchat does not have an official app for Windows Phone , the mobile operating system Microsoft, so, in such platform, there are a lot of third party applications that seek to take advantage of this absence, and propose their own alternatives, connecting users with Snapchat unofficially service.
Of course, while these applications fulfill what they promised, many of the messages and photos sent by such third-party applications then appeared on Internet , where supposedly already had self-destructed, leaving no happy users.
Therefore, Snapchat has decided to intervene and remove all unofficial apps his service in Windows Phone.
One of those affected was 6snap , whose developer Rudy Huynh tweeted the weekend that his application had indeed been removed from Windows Phone and that the user accounts have been blocked. Also, Microsoft and Snapchat asked to work together to find a solution that benefits users
