The ISS celebrates the New Year 16 times – Digital Journal Our Country

Moscow, December 31 (dpa) – Astronauts on the International Space Station (ISS) may enter up to 16 times the New Year: at a rate of five miles per second, the ISS will cross the night, end of year 16 time zones, the Russian state newspaper “Rossiyskaya Gazeta” reported today.
