WASHINGTON The US president, Barack Obama promised to” respond “to North Korea by the cyber attack against Sony Pictures movie studio, which led to the cancellation of a comedy and in which Washington sees the hand of Pyongyang.

“They caused a lot of damage and we will respond proportionally … … at the place and time of our choosing,” said the president, AFP quoted.

According to Obama, Sony executives “made a mistake” to be intimidated by hackers.

“We can not have a society in which a dictator somewhere can impose censorship here in the United States, “said

.” If someone can intimidate some people for not presenting a movie, imagine what they will do if they see a documentary or news report they do not like, “he said.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) said “have sufficient evidence that the North Korean government is responsible for these actions.”

The Interview is one sitcom, starring James Franco and Seth Rogen, on a plot orchestrated by the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) to kill North Korean leader Kim Jong Un. Its premiere was scheduled for the end of the year, but was suspended.

The Guardians group of Peace or GOP launched a cyber attack that left light hundreds of emails, wage data, social security numbers of workers and scripts.

Sony defended himself and said the company had not capitulated. His boss, Michael Lynton, commented that “the President, the press and the public are what is wrong with what actually happened.” “There have subsided, we have not given up, we have been persevering,” he said, recalling that were first cinemas which refused to show the film.
