Apple reported a function that consumes data secret | Peru Trade – Trade

The surprise has been updated for users operating system iPhone in mid-September. The data rate began to fade without them realizing

Few understand why and many may not yet have noticed, but the reality is that September brings iOS functionality to enable this rate when the WiFi connection is weakened.

And it comes enabled by default iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch.

The problem is in the “Support for Wifi”.

This option is hidden in the settings of iOS in September.

If you do not want the iOS device to stay connected to the Internet when you have a bad connection wifi (avoiding the hazard rate data), you can turn off “Support for WiFi” by following these steps:

Then scroll down,.. the end of the list, and click on Support for wireless to disconnect.

The controversy has already jumped from simple complaints to court social networks.

An American couple just file a lawsuit against Apple on behalf of all concerned, in which he asks five million dollars.

The applicants consider that the costs for users even exceed that amount, and therefore believes that Apple must refund that amount to their customers.

After the commotion caused, Apple decided to take a note on its website warning their clients that “could use more data cell” if they leave the feature activated.

Some do not consider the plaintiffs neither sufficient nor analysts.

“Apple could have put a pop-up in the cell to explain what had changed” in the update says Daniel Gleeson , analyst at IHS .

And it warns that the cost for users can be significant in some cases.

Gleeson believes that the number of bill shock “should be small” for those users who have contracted one good service with a data packet.

However, believes that “could be a major problem at international level,” because there are many places where it is more common to use data packets prepaid.
