Facebook, Google and WhatsApp spy on their users, says expert – Metro Colombia

Whenever an application downloading accept the terms and conditions , probably without reading the lengthy document, but it was wrong.

According to Vincent Steckler, CEO of Avast antivirus software, platforms like Google, Facebook and WhatsApp spy on their users to meet their personal tastes and show advertising.

Quoted by Firstpost site during an event on the progress of your company in cybersecurity issues, Stackler said: “Google is an advertising company whose revenues come from AdWords. spy on users, finding out what interested, and offering advertising, is what your business model is based. There is nothing inherently wrong with that. Users know what’s going on, I think. ”

The president of Avast goes further and says that WhatsApp similarly violates the privacy of its 900 million users noting that Facebook uses it as a “data collector to give publicity” in the social network based on their conversations “.

So far, Facebook has not issued a statement to respect , while a spokesman for Google said that “as a policy, we can not discuss this issue without seeing the specific report,” although in its privacy policy reads as follows: “By using our services, you we trust their information. The data allows us to offer our services as Search, Gmail and maps. The data also helps us to display relevant ads, so we can make our free service for everyone . “

In this gallery we show eight data by WhatsApp is unsafe.
