Capture the sharpest image of a galaxy collision – Qué.es

A group of astronomers from NASA and the European Space Agency has revealed an unusual image of the collision between two galaxies with a clarity never before achieved. The result has been achieved thanks to the combination of different telescopes with a magnifying glass of cosmic proportions.

The photograph is from the galaxy H1429-0028 and 7000 years ago there was s. Experts say that the shock is similar to one that took place in the Milky Way. Such alignments are extremely rare and are usually very difficult to identify.

According to experts who have managed to identify galaxies, led by Hugo Messias, University of Chile, one of those involved in the collision would still show signs of rotation.
