Google and Amazon are conducting parallel research to develop drones -drones- serve their commercial purposes.

The same department that Google developed the Google Glass, and works with the latest technology, is the one in charge of this initiative called ‘Ala Project’.

The development has already gone on for two years and have been tested with farmers in Queensland (Australia).

The idea is to make a shipment of goods to businesses and consumers using these flights, which would provide greater efficiency and respect for the environment, according to a report from Bloomberg.

Amazon is also engaged in a similar project, further evidence of the strong competition between the two companies continues to grow.
