Twitter displayed on the timeline of tweets users accounts … – La Voz de Galicia

Changes consecutive complaints from users. It is common. In its effort to improve the service we offer, social networks often revised its functionalities, the nuts are set and regularly wash their faces, just as in the Internet, at last, had become accustomed to its dynamics, their use and enjoyment. And all alterations, some more than others, are uncomfortable without exception. This time it has been Twitter who has rewritten its rules of use and decided to rethink certain characteristics.

From now on, the social network will allow the license to decide what might interest the user . Thus, in order to convert the timeline into something “more relevant and interesting,” he displayed in his timeline , plus all micromensajes those accounts that follows, other tweets profiles unknown . They will not be retweets. No. Will tweets profiles to which the user does not follow .

So far, the timeline only those messages embodied people who were still interspersed with promotional tweets, clearly identified as such. Last week, some netizens began complaining that he appeared retweeted messages that other users have marked as favorites , not retweets. And now, the English version of the Terms of Use Twiiter identify explains that when “a tweet, a bill to continue, or any content that could be popular or relevant”, you can add the timeline of their users. “This means that sometimes you see tweets of accounts you do not follow,” added the social network. This selection will be “taking into account certain variables , including how popular it is or how many people from which follows the user is interacting with it.”

These changes have not sit well users , which have taken them as an intrusion on their privacy and a lack of consideration. They understand that well lose control over what they keep and what not continue and that their chronologies that have so carefully choosing personally who maintain their view, will be filled with “noise” and become saturated with information.
