The Japanese automaker Nissan has invented a Nissan Leaf shining in the darkness. Now the brand has gone a step further and has used this bright paint to create the first highway in the world that shines in the darkness, and put his phosphorescent 100% electric car in it.
The only highway World luminescent called Smart Highway (intelligent highway). It is a stretch of 600 meters from Highway 329 N, an important communication link that crosses the Dutch town of Oss. Thanks to some brilliant lines that absorb light during the day and glow for 8 hours at night, the road becomes an experience of light and information.

This innovative intelligent highway project was conceived by designer Daan Roosegaarde to help guide drivers in the dark and at the same time, save energy that would have been used in the illumination of the road.
