Minisatellite captured image of the solar eclipse from space – The Universal

Although the solar eclipse this morning was complete, was only partly visible in the northern hemisphere and even there, several countries were unable to appreciate by weather conditions.

Where there were no problems to view was in space, where a European probe and an Italian astronaut captured images of the phenomenon.

The best of the eclipse from space was captured by the minisatellite Proba-2, the European Space Agency , dedicated to monitor the sun.

The satellite could take a picture of when the moon almost completely cover the Sun, and through other images, you could put together a short video that portrays the full eclipse.

The Italian astronaut Samantha Cristoforetti, part of the crew that currently inhabit the International Space Station, also took some photos published in your Flickr account.

While he could not follow the entire event, as it was conducting experiments on adaptation of immune cells to space travel in waiting times drew pictures showing partial obstruction del Sol.
