The Sun emits its second solar flare in just 48 hours - CNN

Madrid. (EP). – The Sun has issued its second solar flare in just 48 hours , as appears from an image captured on Friday by the Solar Dynamics Observatory (SDO, for its acronym in English) spacecraft, according to the U.S. space agency.

Specifically, it is an X1.7-class solar flare, considered the most powerful, from the spot called AR 1882. At dawn on Thursday, just 48 hours earlier, another eruption is registered M9.3 class of lesser intensity.

remember that solar flares are powerful bursts of radiation.
